The Rise School of Stillwater

The Rise School held its very first graduation on July 24, 2009. Six children graduated from the program, and will attend either pre-kindergarten or kindergarten in their local school district starting in August (children represented four districts: Stillwater, Cushing, Morrison, and Perkins-Tryon). The graduation ceremony was preceded by a western-style lunch and a music performance by the Rise School children. We had close to 100 people in attendance, including family members, friends and colleagues from OSU, and Representative Lee Denney. The Rise School is open to all children, with and without developmental disabilities, ages 18 months to 4.
