Amy BranhamNutritional Sciences senior Amy Branham will graduate with options in human nutrition, pre-med and dietetics in May. Receiving the Lew Wentz and M.B. Seretean undergraduate research scholarships as well as the OSU Wentz Research Project Award have supported Amy’s interest in research. During Research Week activities on the OSU campus, she presented the results of her research project focusing on parental attitudes and practices among low-income families with pre-school children in Oklahoma. Amy is a member of the Nutritional Sciences Club and has served as co-chair of the club’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. She was a member of the OSU Cowboy Marching Band for 2 years and the OSU Concert Band. Amy was invited to participate in the 2007 OSU Scholar Development Study Abroad Program in Cambridge, England and Dublin, Ireland. Amy has maintained a 3.9 grade point average as a four year member of the Honors College and is the Nutritional Sciences tutor in the OSU Academic Enhancement Center for Student Athletes. Amy received the Col. Katherine E. Manchester Scholarship from the American Dietetic Association Foundation. Cynthia and Art Branham of Nowata, Oklahoma are her parents.
