Marriage and Family Therapy Faculty

 

Matt Brosi, Ph.D., is a graduate of the COAMFTE accredited Ph.D. program at Michigan State University. Dr. Brosi came to OSU in 2004. His research interests focus on intrapersonal value and belief systems influence on interpersonal relationships, contextual factors influence on family violence, and MFT training and supervision processes. Dr. Brosi currently serves as the Director of the CFS.

 




Kami Schwerdtfeger, Ph.D., is a graduate of the COAMFTE accredited Ph.D. program at Texas Tech University. Dr. Schwerdtfeger came to OSU in 2007. Her research interests are systemic dynamics and intergenerational transmission of trauma, systemic factors of posttraumatic growth and resiliency, women’s mental health and childbearing issues, and marriage and family therapy outreach and outcomes in rural settings.

 

 

Glade Topham, Ph.D., is a graduate of the COAMFTE accredited Ph.D. program at Texas Tech University. Dr. Topham came to OSU in 2003. His research interests are the influence of parenting in the development of child obesity, barriers to engaging and retaining parents and children in parent-child treatment, and predictors of treatment success in parent-child treatment. Dr. Topham is the current MFT Program Coordinator.
