 Valerie Velez, Class of 2007 During her junior year, Valerie participated in Hospitality Days during which she interviewed with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. She was hired by the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines in Austin, Texas as a Rooms Division Intern. Valerie was a part of the hotels grand opening and had an opportunity to put her supervisory skills to work while assisting the Guest Services department implement several new systems, policies, and procedures. Following her internship, Valerie returned to OSU to finish her senior year. Valerie was offered a full-time management position with Hyatt five months before her graduation! Valerie is currently a Corporate Management Trainee at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Dallas. |
