CHES Seniors Named to OSU Alumni Association 2008 Seniors of Significance Four CHES seniors have been selected Seniors of Significance by the OSU Alumni Association. The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU. This group of 41 is approximately one percent of the 2007-2008 graduating class and represents the breadth of the OSU student experience.  | Margee Edwards, a nutritional sciences and dietetics major from Texarkana, TX, is the junior adviser for Scholar Leaders and is a member of the Student Alumni Board, Nutritional Science Club and the Mortar Board Honor Society. She is currently CHES Outstanding Student and was Miss OSU 2007 during which time she promoted “Smart Choices, Better Chances”. |  | Eunice Menja, a child and family services major from Stillwater, served as co-cultural coordinator for the African Student Organization, is a member of Golden Key International, Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society. She also volunteers at the OSU Family Resources Center and is an organizer for Upendo Kwanza. |  | Jessica Reid, a hotel and restaurant administration major, serves as the entertainment chair for the Student Union Activities Board, and is active in Phi Beta Lambda. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Club Managers Association of America. She is from Edmond. |  | Ashley Spess, a human development and family science major from Cleveland, Okla., is the special programs chair for the College of Human Environmental Sciences and is a member of the Mortar Board and Kappa Omicron Nu honor societies. She serves as president of her social fraternity and has volunteered for Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Judith Karman Hospice. Also, Spess was honored as a Wentz Research Scholar and as a Truman Scholar Nominee. |
